Congratulations to 10u Scott for winning the championship in the 10u B division of the Nevada Hitfest. With a record of 6-0, they scored 61 runs and allowed 21.
Congratulations to 10u Scott for taking 2nd place in the 10u Open division of the SDM Summerfest. With a record of 3-1-1, they scored 29 runs and allowed 16.
Congratulations to Caroline McAlexander for breaking the single season home run record at her high school, Mt. Ayr. She is at 8 and counting.

Congratulations to Madisen Blackford for hitting 3 Home Runs in the same game with her High School team. That brings Madisen's career home run total to 85.

Congratulations to 16u Blackford for taking 2nd place in the 18u A division of the Tom Turkey tournament in Missouri. They finished the fall season with a record of 18-2, and ended up ranked #2 in the whole nation for power ranking in the 16u A division.

In memory of Urbandale police Officer Justin Martin and Des Moines police Sgt. Anthony "Tony" Beminio, the 16u Blackford team wore all black with blue armbands this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families.

Congratulations to Sara Farlow for hitting a Grand Slam in the semi-final game to help 12u Callsen make it to the championship. Sara's ball just happen to hit her dad's truck leaving a nice dent when it went over!

2016 Des Moines Softball Camp
Ashley Fleming, Chelsea Thomas, and Courtney Conley will be holding a softball camp on Sunday, December 18th at the Iowa Renegades indoor facility in Des Moines, IA. The three hour skills camp will include instruction and drills in hitting, throwing, infield, outfield and catching. The one hour pitching camp will include instruction and drills on the proper pitching mechanics.
